I can’t believe it’s already the end of July. At the beginning of the year, I made a promise to myself that I would post at least once a month on this blog. I’m happy to say that so far I’ve kept this promise! I definitely want to post a lot more, and hopefully that will be the case in the near future.

These last few months have been really difficult, especially with the passing of my beloved grandmother in early June. Her health was deteriorating, but she kept her fighting and independent spirit to the very end. I miss her very much. Most days it doesn’t even feel like she’s gone. I still feel like I can pick up the phone and say hello, or stop at her home for a visit. No matter what I know her memory will remain forever in my heart. I hope to write a longer post about her soon and share more about her with the world.

A lot is happening and I have a trip coming up in a few weeks that I’m so excited to share with you all! Until then, keep your heads up high and your hearts full, and thank you so much for hanging in there with me on this venture.
